Orlando Fashion Square Mall’s big upgrade will include a Westin-brand hotel.

Element by Westin is a eco-friendly brand from Starwood Hotels and Resorts, featuring guestrooms and suites, along with a pool deck, fitness center and bike and ride station.

UP Development, which bought Orlando Fashion Square earlier this year, says Element is a great hotel for relatives visiting Baldwin Park families, or travelers flying in and out of nearby Orlando Executive Airport.

The revamp of Fashion Square will also include new shops and restaurants, a bowling alley and an arcade.

Crews will break ground on the space for Element this fall, in a space between Panera and Macy’s. The mall will stay open during the redevelopment project.
