We’re only one month into the year and already the region has seen the 78-year-old Citrus Bowldemolished as part of one of the many renovations scheduled locally this year.

But it won’t stop there. This year Central Floridians will get their first commuter train, a 425-foot observation tower on International Drive and possibly a new mayor in Orange County, to name a few.

Of course, with all these changes will come construction, and lots of it. Namely, a $2 billion overhaul will begin this year on Interstate-4 to add four toll lanes to one of the most heavily trafficked areas in Orlando.
