UP Fieldgate US Investments East Colonial, LLC purchased former Toys R Us property, at 724 Herndon Avenue, vacant building encompassing 40,000 SF on 5.13 AC in 2013 for $3.75M. The property was redeveloped for a new Dick’s Sporting Goods and Noodles and Co. at 53,000 SF and 2700 SF, opening in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
In addition, assembled the aforementioned property with the Zimmer owned parcels at 3683 and 3755 E. Colonial Drive, both C-Class Retail/Office buildings for $1.1M, parcel sizes of 0.90 AC and 0.92 AC each, in 2014. One of the first Zimmer Properties sold in their entire portfolio.
Scraped both buildings and redeveloped for Noodles and Co. as front parcel of Dicks Sporting Goods, and corner parcel for BBT Bank, 2,700 SF and 3,800 SF respectively, both opened in 2015.
